Jane Jones-Warner Associates is a modestly sized but well-resourced RIBA Chartered Practice based in the City of Chichester.
Jane is the principal architect but as a team the practice specialises in all aspects of work to secular, ecclesiastical and historic structures.
The practice portfolio includes stately homes, farm buildings, monuments, museums, churches, community buildings, educational and the health and social care sector, along with a number of private houses including a scope of new-build projects and unlisted buildings that are located in historic or sensitive settings.
The opportunity to work on buildings of significance is regarded highly by all members of the team, as is the invariably long term working relationship with their custodians.
A large body of the work undertaken is within the Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire borders where the team has successfully implemented projects in challenging planning environments.
In addition the practice has worked on a number of grant aided projects with Historic England and The Heritage Lottery Fund to successfully deliver conservation repairs, Heritage at Risk maintenance plans, condition surveys and urgent repairs to a variety of historic buildings within the South Coast.
The practice undertakes consultancy roles to help clients and architects when working with whole estate plans, conservation management plans, heritage statements and general historic building advice.
Jane has run her own practice since 1994. There was a brief period between 2010 and 2014 when the practice merged with Smiths Gore where she was a partner. In 2014 she left the partnership to restablish her practice again.
Since 2014 the practice has grown and at present is a team of ten capable individuals with a breadth of skills and abilities that complement one another. All members work as a team and the support offered to each other enables the practice to progress projects with design flair, enthusiasm and total joined-up thinking. As a practice they utilise the skills and strengths of each individual for different tasks. The outcomes are exciting and rewarding and as a consequence most of their work is acquired by personal recommendation.
Jane Jones-Warner is the Principal Architect with partners Laurence Hall and Julian Vallis. In addition there are heritage consultants, Dr Ian Wightman (associate) and Heather Hall, architect Trevor Munday, architectural technologist Graeme Mollins and architectural assistants Mike Jones and Adam Holmes.
Jane Jones-Warner Associates is a Limited Liability Partnership.
