Jane Jones-Warner Associates architects is an award-winning RIBA Chartered Practice based in Chichester, West Sussex.
The practice undertakes work in Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Somerset (as far west as Exmoor). The team has successfully implemented projects in challenging planning environments including National Parks, Conservation Areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs).
Jane Jones-Warner RIBA SCA AABC IHBC is an architect accredited in building conservation and the principal architect, supported by a team of five capable individuals specialising in all aspects of work to historic buildings including churches, monuments, stately homes, farm buildings and residential properties.
The practice’s work involves grade I, grade II* and grade II listed buildings as well as some unlisted in historic settings.
Jane Jones-Warner Associates prides itself on a contemporary approach to design using traditional materials and has won awards for the practice’s approach and detailing.
The practice has also worked on a number of grant aided projects with Historic England and The Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver conservation repairs, Heritage at Risk maintenance plans, condition surveys and urgent repairs to a variety of historic buildings across the south.
In addition, the practice works in consultancy roles to help client and architects with whole estate plans, conservation management plans, heritage statements and general historic building advice.
Focusing on the roofs of the historic college buildings, Jane Jones- Warner Associates were involved in the conservation and repair of the roof to the House. The repairs required a scaffold with temporary roof and due to the construction of the House, an independent scaffold had to be designed to span the existing building without
Works started on site in spring 2017 to this lovely grade II listed private house, formerly a working mill. Insensitive modern alterations were removed whilst carefully considered contemporary additions were introduced and conservation repairs carried out to enhance and protect the building’s heritage.
