St Mary’s
A grade I listed church, dating back to the 12th century and located at the heart of the rural community of the village of Thakeham. Works involved an extensive reordering project and conservation of the historic fabric, as well as the erection of an annexe which provided a new vestry with storage and a flexible
St Nicholas
Reordering works involved opening up the west end of the church through the removal of the central part of the mezzanine floor and the reintroduction of the stone steps to the west entrance. New glazed doors with an etched design by Mel Howse were inserted into the west entrance to bring light into the church.
St John’s
Three phases of award winning conservation repair of a grade I listed church, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project required working closely with specialist consultants and contractors in the repair and re-roofing of the Horsham stone roof. A later phase of work included the installation of an accessible WC and contemporary glass doors.
St Mary’s

The project required working closely with specialist consultants and contractors to complete repairs to the tower. There were a series of concerns, but the urgency was compounded by the development of a horizontal crack around the whole tower due to the corrosion

An English Heritage grant funded project encompassed substantial timber repairs to the spire, new details to the eaves, replacing the cedar boards with oak shakes and additional repairs and re-pointing to the stonework. Later, in 2015, a roof repair grant was received and the clay roof tiles were removed, timber repairs carried out to the nave and chancel roof structure
St Margaret’s
A new audio-visual system, including a projector and drop down screen, has been installed in the church to support modern methods of worship.
