The White Horse Inn, Sutton was a winner in the commercial category at the recent Sussex Heritage Trust awards held at Pangdean Old Barn, Pyecombe. This was a project to conserve, repair, refurbish and develop an historic listed country inn to secure a long-term future for this community asset.

Planning permission granted for annexe extension at St Mary’s Church, Thakeham

Planning permission has been granted for the improvement of facilities at St Mary’s Church, introducing WCs and a small kitchenette.  The annexe proposed is minimal and self-effacing, clad in materials that will weather down and blend in with the colour of the stone and sit comfortably in its rural setting.
