All the eaves have been extended so that new external down pipes can be fitted, replacing the internal ones that were deteriorating, This has allowed works to the Scottish slate roof to start. A painstaking operation to choose the right sized slate for each of the diminishing courses, maintaining the character and charm of the 1960’s house.

The re-roofing project at St. Mary’s Church in Chithurst has for the most part been completed, the scaffold around the church has been dropped and the church is looking splendid.
This small rural church plays host to many visitors from across the world and we hope that the project allows for the church to stand for future generations to come visit.
The re-roofing project at St. Richard’s Church in Burton Park, Duncton has now been completed successfully. Once the roof was stripped we discovered a considerable amount of decay in the sarking boards and the timber roof structure this has now been repaired. The roof is now water tight and looks great!
Jane Jones-Warner Associates are delighted to announce that the new build church annexe at St Mary (Our Lady) Church, Sidlesham was officially opened and blessed by The Right Reverend Dr Martin Warner, Bishop of Chichester. Following a full capacity morning service the annexe was used to host the opening ceremony and celebrations; all of the facilities were put to good use and everyone was very complimentary about the final building.
Our extended thanks are offered to all of the Design Team who helped make the building a reality, especially the contractors RW Armstrong whose careful and considerate skills helped to craft a final building that was fitting for the Historic environment. Lastly our thanks are offered to the Church who put their trust and faith in us to provide them with a building that not only responds to their brief but also responds to the 13th Century church sympathetically and will remain an asset to the church for many decades to come.
Works are now largely complete at St. Peter`s Church in West Blatchington, of which included redecoration of the interior and exterior, the introduction of bespoke Oak joinery, improvements to the control of rainwater, the repair of the bellcote, and following archaeological investigations, the repair and re-pointing of Saxon masonry

High level repairs and inspection have recently been completed at St Mary's Church, Portsea
Jane Jones-Warner Associates were invited to the opening of the Dragon Fly Hoult Station and the extension to the railway track that leads one around the new dragon fly pond at Exbury Gardens.
As well as the opening we were fortunate enough to meet the original Architect of Upper Exbury; Sir James Dunbar-Nasmith and to show him the works we are carrying out at the house.

T. Coleborn & Sons are doing an excellent job repairing the bespoke windows at Upper Exbury, prior to the main works starting later this year.

Works to the new build annexe building at St Marys Church, Sidlesham are progressing well despite some days lost due to the typical English wet weather. However, the building is beginning taking shape with the external walls being built up to damp proof course and the stone plinth detail being incorporated to compliment the existing 13th Century church. The internal layout is starting to become visible allowing the client to appreciate the spaces that are being created.

The new build annexe at St Marys Church, Sidlesham is successfully out of the ground. Following some early hiccups with existing unmarked electrical cabling, which relied on the Regulatory Authorities attending site to move, RW Armstrong have kept up pace through the cold and wet weather to install the reinforced pile and raft foundation ready for the walls to be built and the building to start taking shape.
The Quinquennial Inspection of St. John the Evangelist, Gosport has recently been completed, under the supervision of Sarah the church cat.
High level inspections were completed at Christ Church, Portsdown in order to determine the source of long-term water penetration and in order to inform a conservation repair schedule.
The works to convert this mid 18th Century Barn, with more modern additions, is now complete and the overall design intent of a clean and honest conversion with a contemporary industrial finish can be seen throughout the detailing such as the face fixed galvanised electrical sockets and accessories to retain the historic stone plinth wall internally.
Works are underway on site at St Mary Our Lady Church, Sidlesham to build a new annex within the grounds of this Grade I Church. Careful excavations have been carried out to minimise the disturbance to the graveyard.
